The day before our solemnization was the Henna Night. My mother insisted that I change outfits (persalinan) during the night. She said, "You only get married once. Just do what I say." And so I did. I changed into 5 different outfits. I had on Baju Jawa, Baju Korea, White Wedding Dress, Traditional Songket (photo below) and Modern Baju Kurung. We got married on 16th October 2008. It was the happiest day of our lives. Our reception took place the next day, 17th October 2008 at Dewan Merak Kayangan. We look forward to living our lives together in the near future.
